The Food Safety Authority branch in Sohag Governorate implemented 5 joint inspection campaigns with the General Administration of Supply, Veterinary Medicine, Supply Investigations, Health Directorate, Governorate and Sharq District, where 44 food establishments were visited. These campaigns resulted in the destruction of a quantity of foodstuffs with changed natural properties and unfit for human consumption.

The branch also implemented 5 Inspection campaigns were carried out on 14 food establishments in the eastern and western neighborhoods of the governorate. A quantity of food items unfit for human consumption were destroyed, and food establishments not registered with the authority were alerted to the need to register, complete licensing procedures, and implement food safety requirements.

The 10th of Ramadan branch carried out 4 inspection campaigns on 40 food establishments in the 10th of Ramadan city, the city of Belbeis, the city of New Salhiya, and the city of Abu Hammad in the Sharkia Governorate. The Food Safety Branch in the Sharkia Governorate carried out 18 inspection campaigns, passing through 82 food establishments within the centers of (Zagazig, Deir Najm, Belbeis, Abu Hammad, Minya al-Qamh, Hahia and other centers), which resulted in the destruction of a quantity of expired and invalid food products. The Food Safety Branch in Kafr El-Sheikh Governorate carried out 7 inspection campaigns in cooperation with ( Consumer Protection Agency, Veterinary Medicine, Supply, Health, Environment, City Council) where 50 food establishments were visited, and these campaigns resulted in the seizure of 2 tons and 765 kg of expired food products of unknown origin.
