القاهرة: «رأي الأمة»

On Thursday, the Tanta Cultural Center troupe presented the theatrical performance “Oh My Dear Eyes” on the center’s stage, as part of the theatrical season shows of the General Authority for Cultural Palaces, headed by Amr Al-Basiouni, presented in Gharbia Governorate, within the framework of the programs of the Ministry of Culture.

The events of the theatrical performance took place within the framework of a mythical fantasy that tells of Isis and Osiris from a different perspective that links the world of ancient Egyptian mythology to our current reality, as the text derived its elements from ancient Egyptian culture, both ancient and contemporary.

“Oh My Dear Eyes,” written and written by Tariq Ammar, directed by Ahmed Essam, show drama by Ibrahim Kabo, décor and costumes by Dr. Ahmed Abdel Aziz, soundtrack by Ahmed Afifi, composed and arranged by Mohamed Salah.

The screening was attended by a jury consisting of director Jalal Othman, critic Dr. Muhammad Zaimah, Dr. Mustafa El-Tohamy. The show was produced by the General Administration of Theater, headed by Samar Al-Wazir, affiliated with the Central Administration for Artistic Affairs, headed by the artist Tamer Abdel Moneim, and was presented within the performances of the West and Central Delta Cultural Region, headed by Ahmed Darwish.

The performances of the Gharbia Culture Branch began last Tuesday with the performance of “Tamara” by the Tanta Culture Palace Theater Troupe, then the performance of “The Peasants’ Revolution” by the Ghazl El Mahalla Culture Palace Troupe, on the stage of the Misr Spinning and Weaving Company in Mahalla, and the performances conclude this Friday evening with the performance of “No” by the Gharbia National Theater Troupe. At the Cultural Center Theater in Tanta.
